Join VEBA and ASLS' Equality Alliance volunteers for a day of service working with the trans community.
CLE and training for the clinic will be offered beginning at 12:00 p.m., with 2 hours of interactive Virginia MCLE credit anticipated. The clinic runs from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The clinic will assist clients with name change applications, petitions for gender marker changes, birth certificate corrections, DMV and social security record updates, updates to DD214s (military discharge records), and answering related legal questions.

Refreshments will be provided courtesy of the Law School's Equality Alliance and VEBA. Paid parking is available in the parking deck located immediate under the law school. On-street parking is also available (cost varies) and there is a Metro stop adjacent to the school. An $8 cash travel/parking stipend will be available on-site to all volunteers and clients.
