Registration

Attorney (CLE + Clinic)
This option is for attorneys who have not attended VEBA training in the last two years.
Attorney (Clinic Only)
This option is for attorneys who do not need to participate in the training.
Law Students (CLE + Clinic)
This option is for students of any law school who are new to the clinical program or who have not received VEBA training in the last two years.
Law Students (CLE only)
This option is for students of any law school who are returning to the clinic and have completed a training in the last two years.

Join VEBA volunteers for an evening of service! The legal clinic will be entirely virtual.

The clinic will assist clients with name change applications, administrative and judicial petitions for gender marker changes, birth certificate corrections, DMV and social security record updates, DD214 updates (military discharge records), and answering related legal questions.

Registration Options:

On-demand CLE + Clinic: The training webinar, with two hours of anticipated MCLE credit. Due to changes in Virginia and federal law, all registrants for the clinical portion must have attended a VEBA training within the last two years. A link to the pre-recorded CLE will be made available a week before the program. Live Q&A begins at 5 p.m.

Clinic only: A brief clinical operations training session (for all participants) followed by two 1-hour client appointment windows. Volunteers who have not participated in an EV clinic this year are encouraged to join the zoom at 5:30 p.m. to discuss the cost assistance program and logistics. Volunteers experienced with the cost assistance program are invited to join the zoom at 5:55 p.m.
